I'm a design leader with a decade of experience building products and teams at scale. I'm currently leading Search and Gen AI at one of the world's largest retail platforms — owning end-to-end discovery from strategy to execution across a team of designers.

I started in the San Francisco startup world before spending the last six years at Walmart, where I grew from IC into leadership — helping scale the design org from 150 to 300 people and leading the kind of ambiguous 0→1 work that requires both strategic clarity and strong craft. The work I'm most proud of lives at the intersection of those two things: a clear point of view on where to go, and the design rigor to actually get there.

What I love most about leadership is watching people grow. Building cultures where designers feel trusted, challenged, and genuinely supported — that drives me as much as the customer problems themselves.

When I'm not designing, I'm usually outside. I'm a retired D1 athlete whose current obsession is backpacking — recent adventures include biking the California coast from San Francisco to LA, hiking Patagonia's W-Trek, and walking the Camino de Santiago across Northern Spain. My next big challenge is learning how to sail.
